SnowDays – delays in the order queue

**IMPORTANT QUEUE UPDATE**

Oyin HQ in Baltimore MD is currently recovering from recordbreaking snows that stormed the midatlantic region in early February. The USPS was unable to pick up or deliver packages at our lab for multiple consecutive business days, and our lab and workers were all completely snowed in. We are working diligently to get your goodies out to you ASAP but unfortunately, queue delays are to be expected – until further notice, please allow up to three weeks rather than two for your order to ship.

This will effect orders that were in the queue when the storm hit (Jan 23rd and on), and all future orders until we recover… our customer queue time will basically adjust upward from 10 business days to 13-15.

We appreciate your patience for our normal customer queue, and hate that you have to wait even a minute more, but these truly are circumstances beyond our control. We will definitely keep you posted about when your order ships, and orders effected by the snowday slowdown will receive an discount coupon in the email that announces your order shipment, so please keep an eye out for it!

Thank you so much for your understanding!!

All our best,
the oyin handmade team

  1. This snow, this weather, this whole thing is ridiculous. I can’t get out of my parking spot half of the time, the roads are slippery and I am almost wishing for all to melt and get back to school.
But I live in PG, I hear it’s worst in Baltimore, true?

  3. Yes, I am in Texas and we were hit pretty hard this weekend, but I am sure not nearly as bad as you all were hit. We don’t get snow like that so we were all enjoying it!!

  4. Is this an actual pic of the snow in B-More? OMG! The worst part about snow here in NYC, is when it gets muddy & slushy. EEEEW!
