I am still learning my hair after about 17 months of growing my relaxer out. The one thing I can say as advice to all other divas who are thinking of going natural is this: When I learned to appreciate my hair for what is was, instead of wishing it was something that it wasn’t, I was much more happier with it. I would see pictures of other beautiful ladies with thick, long fluffy hair and start to dislike mine. One day, I looked in the mirror and realized that my hair was uniquely mine, and that with the proper care, and awesome products like Oyin, my hair and scalp would be nourished. It’s been love ever since!
