Welcome to our newest blog feature, Oyin Honeylove! We’ll be introducing you to fabulous Oyin Customers around the world. This week, we’re starting with one of our own. Meagan (pronounced Mee-gan) has been an Oyin Honeybee since Fall 2006.
Occupation: Makeup Artist, Chef Extraordinaire at Oyin Handmade. I make the stuff that takes the ash away.
Favorite foods to nibble on: Spicy Nacho Doritos, Oreo Cookies (but I scrape the cream off), Sunflower Seeds, Baskin Robbins Chocolate Chip Ice Cream on a Cake Cone.
Favorite musical artist and why? Sade is the one artist that I can ALWAYS find a way to relate to. A lot of people think her music is very complex, it’s actually quite simplistic. I admire her ability to take a simple story & give it such a colorful presentation – she’s made of MAGIC!!! My earliest recollection of singing with my mother is of us singing Sade songs, “Smooth Operator” & “Your love is King” being our favorites to sing together. Her music just makes me feel really good, and she’s an AMAZING storyteller. Her songs are literally the soundtrack of my life.
One Thing I would tell my teenage self: That you’re okay just the way you are, and one day you’ll understand that!
Biggest Dream: To become a world renowned makeup artist, philanthropist and advocate for underprivileged young women.
Hairstyle(s) of choice: locs, all shaved off (see picture for reference), twa and comb coils ( four days after they’re done).
Favorite Oyin products and how you use them:
Frank Juice-I use it in my hair daily, and after I color my hair i use it twice a day. I spray it on and rub it in. It’s usually the only product I use in my hair.
Whipped Pudding- I use this head to toe. Lips, Hair, Toes, everything. It’s great on feet.
Product you wish Oyin Handmade made: A facial moisturizer with natural fruit enzymes.

I also met her at the makeup show and she is more beautiful in person!! I really enjoyed reading this interview 
I too think Meagan is great! Her personality is always warm and welcoming! She is the perfect person to represent Oyin products in the store…I just bought a couple of items from her last Saturday! lol Yaaaaay Meagan!!
I met Meagan at the store last Saturday and I soooo enjoyed talking with her! She was a delight and was great in helping me select my products.

I love Meagan! I havent been to the store in a while but whenever I go, I look forward to talking with her and seeing her beautiful smile! I hope I get the chance to see her on Saturday when I stop by to re-up
