Healthy, happy news...

We are thrilled to be partnering with the University of Maryland Medical System to provide texture-centered Oyin Handmade hair care products for their patient population. 

Many folks with highly textured hair (us included!) are long accustomed to either traveling with our own hair products or opting for longer-term protective styles when traveling because the available amenities at hotels, hospitals, or other large institutions are not appropriate for our hair type.

The incredible DEI team and healthcare providers within the UMMS system are alleviating that pain point by providing Oyin's moisture-rich goodies to their patients - removing one small thing from their list of things to think about while receiving care. 

We honor this commitment to inclusivity and are so excited to be a part of this initiative. The products are being paired with texture-friendly styling tools as well, such as detangling brushes and picks.
