Our line was created by Jamyla Bennu, a lifelong ingredient-conscious naturalista. Jamyla created the line in 2001 when she couldn’t find commercially available natural and organic products for her highly textured, natural hair. Joined by her husband and partner Pierre in 2003, the company began in their kitchen in Brooklyn, and continued exclusively online for more than 10 years!
Today, we are still family-owned and operated, and continue to provide impeccable online service through our ecommerce shop.
