Naturally style your hair without sacrificing softness! This clean-feeling natural creme gel is great for twist outs, braid outs, and soft wash & go styles. Contains Aloe vera, sea vegetables, shea butter, coconut oil for a non-drying, gentle formula.

Usage:Apply generously, and finger comb using a ‘raking’ motion to make sure application is even. Set hair with braids or twists, and remove once completely dry. For a wash & go, finger style and air dry, or use a diffuser to hurry things along. Best used on damp or wet hair.

This works do well on my daughter’s hair. Her curls always are defined and moisturized.
Has the formula changed over the years? I wasnt a fan of the product years ago when I first tried it, and decided to revisit at the end of 2024 and now love it for twists/outs!

Most cremes and gels weigh down my fine hair, big curls. This is keeping my hair soft and alive during the winter. I use the Burnt Sugar Pomade on the ends for extra volume.
I like this product. First time using, however, it joins the group of products that make my scalp itch. I have this problem with many products. I usually purchase Hair Dew. It is wetter than Shine and Define. Shine and Define makes my hair lay down (I'm a natural), which is nice. I used it Sunday and by the evening I had itchy bumps in the nape of my hair line. I washed it out Monday. At least I tried it.
