With all varieties, test on your wrist or inside your elbow before using, and because the baking soda in this formulation is potentially abrasive, always spread very gently ('smooth on' rather than 'rub in'), and do not apply to irritated, just-shaven, or broken skin. Try on damp skin fresh from the shower, or over a layer of body oil. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
