Description

Our sugar pomades are petroleum-free, sheen-enhancing powerhouses that help shine & seal your hair. Formulated with castor, unrefined hempseed, and broccoli seed oil, our pomades are the perfect final step over a liquid or cream moisturizer in your natural moisture retention regimen. This completely vegan blend of oils, butters, and veggie waxes acts as humectant and protectant for hair, increasing shine to a high glossy sheen, locking in moisture.

Why You Need It:

  • Available in two delicious scents, burnt sugar and juices and berries
  • 100%  non-greasy vegan formula
  • Petroleum-free for breathable pores
  • Nourishes your scalp and hair strands
  • helps prevent breakage

Usage: Begin with our hair tonic or hair dew leave-in lotion to add moisture. Apply a small amount to roots or ends and brush if needed. For extra hold, tie down with a satin scarf overnight. Store in a cool, dry place.

Tip from our Mixtress: Rub between your fingers or palms to soften/liquefy. Use to moisturize scalp, to twist locs, to seal the ends of twists or braids, to polish a pulled-back style or an updo, to add weight to the canopy of your hair, to weigh down flyaways or control frizz, or to create waves on super short cuts.

Ingredients: castor oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, organic virgin coconut oil, mango seed butter, olive oil, unrefined hempseed oil, candelilla wax, cocoa butter, broccoli seed oil, fragrance

    Locks in moisture

I love this pomade on my 4c hair. It helps seal in moisture and smooth my hair cuticle down. It is a humectant which is perfect for my low porosity hair. I used it as a loose natural and now have locs and it’ still works great.

    What a surprise!

I was nervous about using a pomade on my medium thin low density , low porosity hair that is very easily weighed down . Most sealing products leave my hair oily and greasy and weigh it down . This product did not ! No build up either ! I use in over the hair dew and I have moisture for days!!!! The smell is amazing ! And a little goes a long way !

    Locks in moisture

I use this to as a sealant when I two strand twist my hair. Upon unraveling, my hair is so well moisturized! I can literally go the whole week and I can still feel like I just did my hair. A little goes a long way so it’s well worth the money for the quality ingredients.

    Burnt sugar pomade

This is now my favorite pomade for my hair. This has left my hair feeling good and not to oily when added. It adds some extra shine to my hair and makes it feel very good. It also smells very nice as well and does not over power you like most pomades tend to do.

    Burnt Sugar .....so moisturizing

I use Burnt Sugar on my entire family. Husband, Son, and myself. We all use directly after a wash placing on wet hair the leavein Hair Dew in first And following up with the burnt sugar. My husband and son have low cuts, son has a curly top with a inch long or so hair and sides faded. They massage on wet hair. For me I do the same before styling with WashNGo, rodding, or twist. It is always used after every wash in my house. Burnt Sugar is also a good daily moisturizer. My middle patch is brittle and dry so this keeps it manageable until next wash. My husband use daily as well. I use on my son in between wash when his hair looks dry. A little goes a long way without it feeling greasy. Great Product !!!

    The Endgame

I have been using the burnt sugar pomade 5 years and it still delivers on excellent shine and moisture retention for all of my (and now my 2 year old daughter's) natural hair styles! Even better- the price has not gone up!
