Love it, love it, love it
This is the best product for twists, braids, laying your hair. The smell is a bit strong but it only requires a tiny touch to get the job done. Bees tend to follow me when I am out and about. Won't trade it though. :)
Our sugar pomades are petroleum-free, sheen-enhancing powerhouses that help shine & seal your hair. Formulated with castor, unrefined hempseed, and broccoli seed oil, our pomades are the perfect final step over a liquid or cream moisturizer in your natural moisture retention regimen. This completely vegan blend of oils, butters, and veggie waxes acts as humectant and protectant for hair, increasing shine to a high glossy sheen, locking in moisture.
Why You Need It:
Usage: Begin with our hair tonic or hair dew leave-in lotion to add moisture. Apply a small amount to roots or ends and brush if needed. For extra hold, tie down with a satin scarf overnight. Store in a cool, dry place.
Tip from our Mixtress: Rub between your fingers or palms to soften/liquefy. Use to moisturize scalp, to twist locs, to seal the ends of twists or braids, to polish a pulled-back style or an updo, to add weight to the canopy of your hair, to weigh down flyaways or control frizz, or to create waves on super short cuts.
Ingredients: castor oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, organic virgin coconut oil, mango seed butter, olive oil, unrefined hempseed oil, candelilla wax, cocoa butter, broccoli seed oil, fragrance

Pleasantly surprised. I've tried several SEVERAL products and this is the best thus far.

Been using this for about 4 years now. I love it! I’ll never use a different pomade. I don’t know of any pomade products that works like this one. It’s thick and not oily like other greasy products. Keep it up Oyin! ❤️
This pomade works excellent for my hair--which is always extremely coily and thirsty. I use the pomade post-wash for twist-outs, as a mid-week refresher and even apply it to my scalp. It softens, moisturises and seals from the root to my frizzy ends. It is also very concentrated so a little goes a long way. Thank you Oyin Family! <3 <3
I kept reading so many positive things about Oyin Hair Dew and seeing rave reviews on YouTube so I’ve been wanting to try it for quite some time but I have other products that I need to use up first. About a month ago I ordered both of the snack pack minis. I’ve been using the blue one, which I believe is the conditioning, but today I decided to try the burnt sugar pomade. Anyway I sealed my TWA with this pomade. My hair is unbelievably soft and I noticed it didn’t shrink up as much. This is most definitely a keeper. Just don’t know if I should get an 8 oz in this or a 4 oz of each. Decisions, decisions.
I'm not a fan of greasy or oily feeling products, but this one does absorb well. The smell isn't bad, I personally don't love it. I honestly got it because it was recommended to use with hair dew. Not a bad product but for my personal tastes, I wouldn't have chosen this for myself. I can use it to retwist my locs, not for any hold but just for it's moisturizing properties.
This is my first order of this product.,,.cant wait to get others.
I use this on my 2 year old daughter's hair! She has very fine hair and it holds it overnight as long as I tie her hair up. The smell is fantastic! I have the burnt sugar as the sugar berries.
I love this product. It is smooth, it locks in moisture, it shines and it smells so good. My favorite scent is the sugar berries pomade. Please keep making this product!
I was hesitant to buy at first because of the price but it is worth it! I have very thick 4c hair and the pomade made my hair feel moisturized without being greasy.
